WOW girls what a whirlwind of an adventure, you all made this a very hard decision, so hard in fact that Sue and Craig left it up to Sheree and Myself to make it!!! And it wasn’t an easy one at all, Sheree and I chatted about it for a long time, sure we had our favourites, and believe me this changed from round to round, BUT what we really needed to do was sit down and come to a decision for our **NEW DT GIRLS**.

So we sat down and discussed it heavily, going from challenge to challenge, entry to entry, and all of those that completed the requirements, (and well done to all of you because I don’t remember coming across an entry that didn’t) We were after entries that applied the requirements in a unique way and had stand out pages, something that really stood out to us in the overall comp. Of course we changed our minds time and time again, but in the end our decision came down to 2 lucky ladies, SO without further ado the new members joining the Scraploot Design Team are…………….

The Team at Scraploot

Huge Sale this saturday for all sydney scrappers

We are having a super sale on this Saturday morning (Myers, DJ, Harvey Norman have nothing like us!!! ) We will be open from 9am to 2pm and will be taking another 10% off all sale products and double up product for personal shoppers visiting us. You will also receive 10% off all non sale product as well.

Make sure you come along and grab some real bargains – we really do not want to count this stock.

We will have the kettle going and the biccie tin topped up ready for you to have some refreshments whilst you trawl through all the sale stock.

All sale stock will be out in the back room to make it easier for you to trawl through to find your bargains.

Hi Ladies, well as Anthea and Sheree have said, you have blown us away with your entries for the challenge. Its going to be tough to make a decision, in fact so tough, Sue has chickened out and has passed the challenge of making the final choices onto Anthea and Sheree. They have some criteria that they need to take into account when selecting.

Wow everyone its over... that 6 weeks did sure fly by... and wow you have all really stunned us with your awsome talents... we have all loved seeing all your gorgeous creations each week... it sure is going to be a tough decision to make....so good luck to you all we will be definatly have the decision made this week and will announce it here on the blog shortly....

Design Team Challenge #6

Oh My Goodness, this is the last week of our 6 week journey, and can I say that it has been so wonderful to watch all of the layouts go up in the gallery, and all of the comments of support to all of you! It really is going to be a hard decision!!!

OK this last challenge we wanted to make it fun, we want to see YOUR creativity, and how you interpret someone else's work!!! YEP this is our own version of Aussie Scrap Jack, EXCEPT YOU choose the LO and the person you want to Jack (so to speak! LOL)

NOW to the 'Rules'

The Layout you must 'Jack' has to be either one of Sheree's, OR one of Mine, (I want these layouts to be found in our galleries, and I have linked them up here for you) please leave a link when posting your layout up in the gallery to the page and person you are 'Jacking' if you are unsure how to do that, then please just let us know the title and the owner of the original layout, oh and as usual please have your layouts uploaded in the correct gallery by 11.59pm EST.

Design Team Challenge #5

Wow only 2 more weeks to go then its the big decision...... You are all definatly making this a tough choice for us...

Ok but now onto challenge #5...

This challenge is a colour challenge when i create pages there are certain colours that i struggle to use one of them is orange. So i want to see you use the following colours on your page.. these colours are to be only used that is the only rule for this challenge... have fun with this challenge cant wait to see what you all do with it...

the colours you are to use are the following:

Pink

Orange

Black

White

Blue...

DT Challenge Week 3

Well, we are blown away with last weeks efforts for the DT Challenge. All your layouts are fantastic with some fabulous concepts for backgrounds....plastics, cardboard, felt...you should all be very proud of yourselves! We are looking forward to seeing all your takes on this weeks challenge. Sue and Craig

Design Team Challenge #4

So how are we finding all of the challenges? I have to admit I am loving seeing the
Gallery so full of GORGEOUS pieces of work! so well done to you all!!

On to this weeks challenge. This week I want to see a multiphoto layout, I want to see

~ at least 3 photos of various sizes
~ a punched shape of any size/shape
~ rubons
~ and I want to see you make use of patterns in some patterned paper

here is my sample



Here I have used 5 photos in 3 different sizes, I have used my circle punches (3 different sizes), some Basic Grey and Scenic Route rubons and made use of the Basic Grey Arctic line, cutting out the Dinosours and Wavey lines from the papers.

SO, dust off those punches (remember you can use 1 or 100 different punched shapes) print off those multi photos (hmmm thinking Parties, Holidays, Christmas, Easter...........) get out those rubons (can be as old as the hills, so long as you use rubons on your layout somewhere) and cut out those patterns (oooo LOVE those Flowers, Flourishes, Dinosours, Robots, Birds..........) and get scrapping.



Now Nitty Gritty stuff.

The Layout must be up in the Gallery by Sunday 11.59pm 8th of June EST
Please only one entry per person
And follow these guidelines for the challenge, we want to see your creativity, but within these set guidelines.
