Classes this week

We have a some great classes happening at Scraploot...

28/02/2008 7pm - 9pm Class 1 with Sue
Make this cute receipe box for storing your secret receipes, or stolen receipes. Class fee includes the kit for the box, fabric paper, cardstock and 12 receipe cards. For those attending the class Sue will email you the document for printing additional receipe cards.



01/03/2008 10:30 - 12:30 Class 1 with Alison
Join Alison for a BTP Project using a Memory Can. The class fee includes the raw Memory Can.


01/03/2008 1:30 to 4:30 Class 2 with Alison
Join Alison in this 3 hour class to make a mini album using Love Elsie's camera mini album. The theme for the album is I Love Photography - well its a mini camera album.

Social Scrap 5:30 to Whenever!

02/03/2008 10:30 to 3:30 Class 1 with Michelle
Join Michelle in this 5 hour class making a foldout 6 x 12 consetina album, celebrating a special occasion. Using Cherry Arte patterned papers, Bazzill scalloped cardstock and Autumn Leave French Twist embellishments.



11/03/2008 7pm - 9pm Class 1 with Alison
Join Alison in this layout class using Daisy Ds Maybe Baby collection. Alison has both both a 12 x 12 and an 8.5 x 11 sample.

13/03/2008 7pm - 9pm Class 1 with Michelle
Join Michelle for this great layout class using Scenic Route patterned papers and Heidi Swapp Embellishments. You will need a 5 x 7 or a 6 x 8 portrait photo. Colour combinations are green, blue, orange and white, so you may prefer a B&W photo to a coloured photo.

Join Jen for a this wonderful layout class using My Minds Eye Kiss and Tell range. Simply stunning, Jen!

Well we are all recovered from the show and back into the swing of things... have had many new products added to the store so make sure you go and check it out...

For the boys, we have selected a limited range of the Scenic Route Salem collection. Great reds, oranges and greens.
From Deja Views, we have added a gorgeous heritage collection Timeless. Browns, Reds and Blues themes with coordinated patterned paper and embellishments.
Jenni Bowlin Studios CHA W releases are already here! Great new papers as well as some new journalling cards and felt.

Creative Living Media show part 2....

Well we all survived the show... lots of tired people thats for sure.. but we all had the best time laughing and talking lots... meeting lots of new customers were great and they all said how gorgeous our stall looked and lots said it was definatly the best one at the show... so we were very happy with the outcome of comments etc that we got...

Some of the gorgeous work that was on display at the show.. Lots of the girls put together some gorgeous work with diffrent albums etc that we could display at the show... many of the customers loved looking at them all and said how gorgeous they were....well done to all the creators of these projects they were all a big hit....

Ok then came the last day of the show... was a bit quite throughout the whole day but of course we still had a great time... here are some photos from the last day

So that was it we did a record pack up of the stock in just under an hour.. then it was off home to relax and put our feet up for a few hours at least ....

We are at the show...

Creative living Media show is on this weekend at Rose Hill Racecourse... Scraploot has an awsome stand there... we have been working really hard the last 2 days so thought we would share some pics of the hard work that we have been up to...

First day on thursday was set up day... it looks amazing its such a bright and colourful stall i think the best out of the whole show lol... nice and bright pink thats for sure...



it didnt take us that long to set up...there was Sue, Craig, Linda, Sheree and Julie were the set up crew so we all got it done pretty fast and it looks awsome...if your around come and say hi we would love to meet you...


ok now to day 2 it was pretty flat out which was good definatly kept us busy thats for sure... was great to meet many new people and introduce some new people to scrapbooking... here are some pics from day 2

Classes for Feb

Join us for the following weeknight classes at Scraploot.! We have a few spots left for Alison’s class tomorrow night. You can book through the website, or give us a ring on 98345939.

Tuesday 12th February

7pm – 9pm
With Alison
Alison has some great samples for you for this class – both 12 x 12 and 81/2 x 11. Using KI Memories Lace paper and Basic Grey Pheriphery papers. Elegant and funky.
Tuesday 19th February

7pm – 9:30pm
With Sue

Put together a fantastic CD folder using papers of your choice along with 7 Gypsies stickers and embellishments. This is a class Sue and Alison did at the 7 Gypsies trade show and Sue just fell for it. The folder can be for any theme you like (there is no limit to the range of stickers from 7 Gypsies) so you can make a folder as a gift or to store your photos on CD in their own safe spot.
Thursday 21st February

7pm – 9pm with Michelle

Welcome Michelle! Join us for Michelle’s first class at scraploot. Michelle has used Sweetwater and Heidi Swapp chipboard products for this fantastic layout for a bloke. The sample of a day at the V8 Driving School, but can be adapted to any theme for a man, or boy, or girl even. Michelle will show you a fantastic technique of layering a colour portion of a photo over a black and white photo.

Thursday 28th February
7pm – 9pm with Sue

Join Sue for this fun class where you will put together a cute little secret receipe box. During the class you will get 3 of Sue’s secret receipes on receipe cards (for those of you laughing cause you know us, Sue can cook –and is not too bad a cook, Sue used to cook, but yes, Craig does most of it now ) AND you will get to taste test the 3 secret receipes (Craig will be cooking them…not Sue)
